Follow the simple instructions on the box to get started:
- Find an appropriate place to fix the bracket (ideally 2m above the ground).
- Insert the two AA batteries into the top of the airnote atomiser unit. Make sure you insert the batteries the correct way round.
- Activate the cartridge by following the two-step instructions on the label: press the button and then push the cartridge and the unit together until the gap is closed.
- Place the activated cartridge onto the top of the base unit and turn the unit on.
- Place the unit on setting III for the first few hours for maximum cleaning effect. After a few hours the air should be noticeably clearer. You can then adjust the power control to achieve the optimal coverage for your room size and fragrancing needs.
- You can then leave the airnote atomiser unit working in the background for up to four weeks on setting III. It will continuously remove airborne particulates.
NO – When activating the cartridge unit follow the two step activation process detailed on the label. Press the button in and push the two pieces of plastic together until there is no gap in the plastic. The cartridge unit is now ready to be used. Do not shake the cartridge. Keep it upright once activated.
YES – they are designed for continuous use, to sustain the effect. Use the control settings I, II and III to adjust for room size and personal preference.
NO – It is safe to leave the airnote atomiser unit on and unattended. This way it can continue to clear and fragrance the air for your return. If you do choose to turn it off, however, bear in mind that it may take a few days to reduce dust and allergen levels below trigger levels when you return due to the cumulative cleaning effect of Liquid-ions technology. When you turn your unit back on it will spray continuously for a few minutes.
YES – since it is battery operated the airnote atomiser unit can be moved from one room to another.
However, if you move it, please remember the following:
- Keep airnote atomiser units upright at all times. Do not place them on their side, back or front as the liquid may leak and prevent the units from working efficiently. Always use the airnote atomiser unit in the wall bracket provided, and keep the bracket installed according to the instructions provided.
- The effect of Liquid-ions technology is gradual. If the unit is removed from a room, new particulate matter will no longer be removed as quickly.
No extra cleaning is required. The droplets will be wiped up or vacuumed up as part of a normal cleaning routine.
YES – The airnote Liquid-ions atomiser is a flexible liquid air purifying system that works in smaller as well as larger areas. airnote atomisers work together to surround you with fresher-feeling air.
YES – airnote atomisers work well when the air is circulating. As new pollutants enter the room the Liquid-Ions droplets get straight to work to treat the dust and PM2.5 particles in the air. If you open the window more pollutants may enter, and some of the Liquid-Ions droplets may be lost out of the window. However, airnote atomiser units work continuously and will remove the additional airborne particles over time.
NO – We do not recommend you clean the airnote atomiser unit. However, if you really need to, just use a dry cloth to wipe the surface. Do not touch the textured area on the front of the cartridge head.
NO – All airnote cartridges are supplied with 2x AA batteries. Only use the batteries provided with the cartridge. Do not use rechargeable batteries with this product.
Each cartridge is supplied with batteries, so the batteries should be replaced when the cartridge unit is replaced. Each set of batteries should last approximately the same time as the cartridge when used continuously on Setting III. Please dispose of batteries according to local regulations.
The cartridges will last for up to four weeks using Setting III (depending on the environmental conditions). This setting is the most effective for treating a large space. The cartridges last longer if a lower setting is used.
You can detect the end of a cartridge’s life in two ways. Firstly, you will no longer be able to smell the aroma of a fragranced cartridge. Secondly, each set of batteries lasts approximately the same length of time as a cartridge on Setting III. When the batteries run out, you will see a red flashing LED, or a flashing orange indicator light. At this point you need to replace the batteries and the cartridge.
NO – However we do recommend that you wash your hands immediately after coming into contact with the liquid. Do not consume the liquid or put it near your eyes. Wipe excess liquid from all surfaces immediately. If the cartridge leaks it should be disposed of.
NO – The formulation is not flammable but we do advise to keep the unit away from naked flames.
Cartridge units can be disposed of in normal domestic waste or in accordance with regional recycling. Dispose of batteries in accordance with local regulations. The main airnote atomiser body cannot be disposed of in general domestic rubbish and must be disposed of in accordance with local guidelines, as for any other electrical or electronic device.
NO – When the formulation runs out the entire cartridge unit (the whole replaceable head) must be replaced. It cannot be refilled. Do not dismantle it to reach the liquid contents.
The light flashes when the airnote Liquid-ions atomiser is in operating mode. This will occur every few minutes.
The green LED flashes when the airnote atomiser unit starts up and during its spray cycles. This spray will occur every few minutes.
The orange light flashes when the battery is low. The cartridge and battery must be replaced.
